The moose-shootin’ soon-to-be son-in-law of Republican darling Sarah Palin will make his music video debut as a lover whose romance is thwarted by his girlfriend’s disapproving mother, a Universal Music Group rep confirmed Friday. Levi Johnston, 20, has agreed to appear in the video for “After Love,” a ballad from Minneapolis R&B/pop singer-songwriter Brittani Senser, 26. According to a written description of the video’s story line, the couple share tender moments before they are driven apart by the young woman’s mother.

Billy Corgan, frontman of the Grammy-winning rock band The Smashing Pumpkins, is recovering this afternoon after the rocker blacked out and collapsed onstage during a concert in Tampa, Florida this week.
