Move over, Kate Gosselin: TLC is preparing to bring viewers inside the world of poly-love and plural families with the premiere of Sister Wives, a seven-part docu-series following polygamist Kody Brown, his four wives — Meri, Janelle, Robin, and Christine — and their combined 16 children.

The cast calls their unconventional, not to mention illegal, family dynamic a “faith decision” about “raising beautiful children and having a happy family.”
On The TODAY Show Thursday, Brown — a man of few words — said that he does not have a “favorite” among his four partners, who say they struggle to work through feelings of jealousy in their unorthodox union.
Sister Wives premieres this Sunday, Sept 26 @ 10/9c on TLC.
