Orlando Bloom Miranda Kerr Pregnant
The worst-kept secret on the catwalk is out of the bag: Miranda Kerr has confirmed what fashion industry insiders have been saying for months — she is expecting her first child with new husband Orlando Bloom, 33.
The dimple-cheeked Victoria’s Secret model made the announcement in a new interview with Spanish Vogue. The excited Aussie, 27, says she’s four months pregnant and admits that keeping the pregnancy a secret thus far has been difficult, especially while battling morning sickness!
“Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along,” Miranda said. “I remember on one occasion in the early days [of my pregnancy] when it was still too soon to say anything, and I had a dreadful time at one job,” she says.
Orlando and Miranda — who have been together since 2007 — were married a month ago in an intimate ceremony in the Caribbean and have always spoken of their desire to become parents.
“My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and vegetable patch,” the model said in 2008. “I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen.”
Miranda’s not the only style star with a bun in the oven. Fellow Victoria’s Secret model Doutzen Kroes is also expecting a child, due in Jan. 2011.
