Monica Cruz Stunt Doubles For Pregnant Penelope Cruz On Set Of “Pirates Of The Caribbean”

The doppleganger sister of Oscar-winning actress Penelope Cruz is standing in as her body double for the new Pirates Of The Caribbean movie to hide the star’s growing bump.

Last month, the Vicky Cristina Barcelona star confirmed earlier this year that she is expecting a baby with new husband Javier Bardem. Cruz has continued filming scenes for her role alongside Johnny Depp in Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides — and her actress sister Monica has been drafted to appear in full-length shots to disguise the pregnancy, Britain’s Daily Express said Monday.

The baby is due early next year.

The next installment in the Pirates franchise arrives in cinemas in the Summer of 2011.
