Keith Olbermann vs. Bristol Palin

You can call Bristol Palin a bad dancer or even a bad influence on young girls, but call the former teen mom the “Worst Person in the World” and all Hell breaks loose.

Palin is striking back against the outspokenly-liberal MSNBC host Keith Olbermann after he gave her the dubious title on his show — Countdown with Keith Olbermann — earlier this week. In Keith’s view, Bristol is nothing more than a hypocrite for appearing in a public service announcement promoting abstinence and safe sex when she was unmarried teenager when she gave birth to her son, Tripp, two years ago this month.
The Dancing With the Stars diva and daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, 20, blasted Olbermann in a posting to her Facebook page on Thursday, arguing that calling her a hypocrite is an “old canard.” Bristol also says that what Olbermann lacks in originality, he makes up for with “insincere incredulity.”
In a blog posting titled “Mr Olbermann — Sorry We Can’t All Be as Perfect as You,” Palin writes: “I have never claimed to be perfect. If that makes me the ‘worst person in the world’ to Mr. Olbermann, then I must apologize for not being absolutely faultless like he undoubtedly must be. To Mr. Olbermann let me say this: you can attack me all you want. But you will not stop me from getting my message out about teen pregnancy prevention. And one day, if you ever have a daughter, you may change your mind about me.”
Here’s the PSA that got Olbermann hot under the collar:
