First Look: Andrew Garfield As “Spider-Man” [Picture]

We’re getting our first look at The Social Network star Andrew Garfield in his most high-profile role to date: Spider-Man!

On Thursday, Columbia Pictures released the first official image of Garfield taking over for Tobey Maguire as the snap-happy webslinger.

Naturally, there are a few noticable changes. For starters, the new costume has more blue in it than the ones in the Sam Raimi Spidey flicks. The chest symbol is also more stylized and there are new straps on the wrists.

And where on Earth are Andy’s muscles?!

The still-untitled 3D Spider-Man prequel is set for release on July 3, 2012.
