“Twilight” Author Stephenie Meyer Releasing “Bree Tanner” Novella June 5

Hey Twi-Hards, Twilight author Stephenie Meyer and Little, Brown Books for Young Readers will be releasing a new novella called The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner on June 5.

The novella is told from the viewpoint of Bree, a newborn vampire featured in Eclipse, the third novel in Meyer’s wildly-successful teen vamp series, The Twilight Saga.

Meyer says the story was originally going to be included in The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, but ended up being to long to fit.

One dollar from the sale of each book (from the first printing of 1.5 million copies issued in the US) will be donated to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, which supports disaster relief efforts such as those in earthquake-ravaged Haiti and Chile.
